| OZ MINERALS QUEENSLAND INDIGENOUS SPORTS AWARDS |
This year the Oz Minerals Queensland Indigenous Sports Awards will be held in November in Cairns.
The nominations for the Regional Award Winners will open on August 1 and will close September 26. The nomination forms will be available from the website.
The Queensland Sports Star of the Year will be chosen from the Regional Winners and will be presented with the Eddie Gilbert Medal.
Last year’s regional winners were: Worrin Williams, Shannon Walker, Davina Hughes, Corey Blade, Steve Walsh, Robbie Crowther, Johnathan Thurston, Rohanee Cox, Travis Fraser, Alfred Ned, Justin Hodges, Otis Gowa, Elsie Seriat and Michael Bani.
