Queensland athlete Otis Gowa is no longer in contention for the Beijing Olympics after the Australian athletics selectors failed to name a male 100m sprinter in the Australian Team.
After winning the 2008 National 100m title and making the finals at Stallwell, the 24-year-old will now focus on the London Olympics in 2012.
Robbie Crowther has also missed out on being selected to head to Beijing. The Australian Athletics Team will also be without a male long jump competitor.
