The 2008 Deadly Awards will be held on October 9 at the Sydney Opera House. The top 4 nominations from each section will go through to the public vote.
The sporting categories include Most Promising New Talent in Sport, Outstanding Achievement in AFL, Outstanding Achievement in NRL, Female Sportsperson of the Year, Male Sportsperson of the Year and the Ella Award for Lifetime Achievement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sport.
