Nominations for the Queensland Regional Indigenous Sports Awards and the Queensland Young Indigenous Sports Star of the Year will now be open until Friday 3 October 2008.
Winners will be announced at the Oz Minerals Queensland Indigenous Sports Awards to be held at the Sofitel Reef Casino in Cairns on Friday 7 November 2008.
Tickets are available to the public for $65 or a table of ten can be purchased for $600. Tickets can be purchased through the Velocity Sports website. www.velocitysports.com.au
