| 2008 LOOKS GOOD FOR DEMPSEY |
Dempsey looks set to enjoy season 2008 after a completing a solid pre-season.
Dempsey, who played just five matches in 2005 and one in 2007, has suffered from a number of hamstring injuries which has limited his ability to step up for the Bombers.
The pre-season has started well for the Cairns product, collecting 19 possessions in Essendon’s win over Brisbane at the Gold Coast on February 16.
In addition to a big year of footy ahead, Dempsey also has the birth of his first child to look forward to. His girlfriend Danielle is due the week before the AFL Season starts.
